National Research and Training

Evaluation of the National Institute of Corrections's Criminal Justice System Project. We conducted a national, cross-site process evaluation of the Criminal Justice System Projects for the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the National Institute of Corrections (NIC). The evaluation focused on the process the sites used to assess their sanctioning policies and develop new sanctioning options.

Indigent Representation in Civil Cases: An Analysis of State Practices. The project team conducted a national study of representation services (1) legally available to indigent litigants in civil cases and (2) actually provided by jurisdictions. The final report provides several recommendations for providing representation to indigent litigants in civil cases.
